Located on the former hospital grounds in Holstebro, the project is part of the area’s transformation into a new urban neighbourhood.
The project transforms Building 17 at the former Holstebro Hospital into a youth culture centre, reusing its existing structure and materials to create new spaces for community, independence and retreat.

Located on the former hospital grounds in Holstebro, the project is part of the area’s transformation into a new urban neighbourhood.

The transformation builds on the existing structure, reusing materials and architectural qualities to give the building new life and purpose.

The existing hollow-core slabs are reused and reinterpreted as new structural and architectural elements, aswell in the dwellings.

The hollow-core slabs are tectonically reinterpreted through an experimental approach to reuse and construction.
